Thien Nhan Hospital supports payment via National Health Insurance and diverse private insurance (including direct guarantee). We assist with completing claims paperwork and offer superior benefits for clients using premium insurance cards.

As of today, Thien Nhan Hospital has established partnerships and direct billing agreements with numerous leading domestic and international insurance companies. This collaboration brings great convenience and benefits to clients who hold premium or international health insurance cards when visiting Thien Nhan Hospital for outpatient services.

Direct billing and insurance claim procedure

For Direct Billing Cases

By directly connecting with insurance companies, customers will not need to pay the treatment expenses if the insurer agrees to guarantee full coverage, or only need to pay a partial amount for items that are not included in the insurance coverage.

At the registration counter or procedure desk, customers who hold premium insurance cards or international insurance cards are kindly requested to provide (1) The insurance card and (2) The original identification document (Citizen ID/Passport, or Birth Certificate for children), so that our staff can assist and advise on the service.

After completing the medical examination or treatment, Thien Nhan staff will contact the insurance company to inform them about the examination results and related costs in order to receive confirmation of payment support according to the insurance package the customer has joined. Thien Nhan will then notify the customer of the direct billing confirmation result received from the insurance company.

Customers will need to pay for any remaining expenses that fall outside the list of items covered by the insurance company, if any. Afterward, customers will sign the relevant documents to complete the record as required. The completed record will be sent to the insurance company.

Payment

For non–direct billing cases

For cases that are not eligible for direct billing at Thien Nhan (including insurance companies that have not signed direct payment agreements with Thien Nhan, or patients whose insurance benefits are not covered under direct billing), the procedure is as follows:

Customers register for medical examination and treatment and pay all expenses incurred during their visit at Thien Nhan Hospital.

Thien Nhan staff will provide the customer with the complete medical documentation, including: Medical examination results, and Official invoices for the related expenses.

The customer then submits the above documents to their insurance company to request reimbursement for the expenses incurred at the hospital.

Thien Nhan is ready to assist patients in preparing all necessary documents to ensure that the process of claiming reimbursement from the insurance company is as smooth and fast as possible.
